What is online giving?

Online Giving is an easy and convenient way for tithing and or donating a gift. It is convenient for those who do not write checks, have cash on hand, or would prefer to tithe by using a credit card or e-check. It provides a convenience and flexibility of being able to give from anywhere at anytime time. In addition, there is also the convenient option of setting up recurring tithing monthly or weekly at any set date.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. You can also give on easyTithe's mobile giving app. Just download the easyTithe app, enter our Church name and zip code, and you can begin setting up monthly, weekly, or one time tithing. You can download the app Click Here to Download to Your Phone

How does the church process online giving?

Springhill Church uses easyTithe to process credit card and bank account gifts and tithes. easyTithe handles all of the security necessary for processing the transaction and then transfers the money into the church bank account. The church receives an instant notification about the gift or tithe. Our financial treasurer enters gift or tithe into the normal giving record just like tithing given on Sunday mornings.

How secure is online giving?

easyTithe is a secure way to make a payment with your credit card or bank account information because this information is only processed on easyTithe’s secure system. The church never sees or has access to your credit card or bank account information. You can see more information about easyTithe here.

Will the information I provide be kept private?

Yes. When you make a gift or tithe, the financial treasurer of the church receives an email with your name, the amount of your giving, email address, and mailing address. We never share your information with anyone else. We do not receive any of your credit card or banking information. Your information is kept private and safe through easyTithe.

How can I keep track of my online giving?

If you access your account statement, you can also see a record of donations or payments by looking at your account history. All giving using your credit card or by e-check will show up on your credit card or checking account statement clearly marked from Springhill/Carlton Community Church.

Is there any charge or fee to give online?

No. You select the dollar amount for your gift or tithe and there are no additional charges. Your donation to Springhill Community Church is tax deductible. The church pays a nominal fee to easyTithe for the convenience and security of the service.
