We exist to ascribe glory to God who has uniquely revealed Himself to us by God’s grace, through His word, in Christ Jesus death and resurrection by the Holy Spirit. We place our emphasis on God’s word, the Bible. Therefore, we preach the Bible, we pray the Bible, we sing the Bible and are dependent upon grace to live the Bible.
We gather as the church each Sunday to ascribe glory and worship to the triune God. We proclaim that the triune God has uniquely revealed Himself to us in a saving way in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus is revealed to us through His word and by His grace. (Hebrews 10:24-25, Psalm 29:2; Hebrews 1:1-4)
The expectation of the Lord revealed to us in His word is that we would continue to grow in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Stagnation and status quo living is antithetical to the Christian life. (Ephesians 4:17-5:21)
We believe that the great commission in Matthew 28:16-20 is more than a suggestion but is a direct command to all who are disciples of Jesus Christ. The proclamation of the gospel is the responsibility and obligation of every believer. In our going we are to be making other disciples of Jesus Christ. We go by godly example and we also must teach others to observe all that Jesus commanded in the Scriptures. This means that our going includes where we live, work and play, but also includes encouraging and teaching others who gather with the church each week. (Matthew 28:16-20; Ephesians 4:11-16; Titus2:1-15)
